Phil Sandoval is the host of The Phil Sandoval Show on Immaculate Heart Radio. He is loved by his listeners for his practical ready-to-use advise in the spirit of charity and hope. Whether it’s navigating your life, your marriage, your family, or your journey with Christ and the Church, Phil gives real life solutions you can believe in.
Phil Sandoval is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the founder of Aurora Counseling Center in Sacramento, CA. Aurora Counseling Center is a non-profit organization that serves people from all walks of life, including the low-income and uninsured population. Phil earned his Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco and has worked in clinical settings with persons suffering from all types of emotional and mental illnesses.
Prior to becoming a therapist, Phil worked in the high-tech industry for nearly 30 years as a physical designer engineer. He taught electronics at the college level and has published course material in both electronics and management topics.
Phil served on the American River College Foundation Board and was recognized by the California Community College Association for Occupational Education for his work in developing a student-employee feeder system between colleges and industry. Phil has lived, worked, and traveled in countries around the world gaining an appreciation and respect for different cultures and traditions.

Father Stephen Watson O.C.D.
Fr. Stephen Watson, O.C.D. is the Provincial of the Western U.S.A. Province of the Discalced Carmelite Friars. A native of Baltimore, Md., he entered the Order in 1977. After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish from Santa Clara University he studied theology at the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology in Berkeley from 1980-1984. He was ordained to the priesthood in June of 1984. He served at the El Carmelo Retreat House in Redlands, CA the first six years of his priesthood. He then experienced parish life as Pastor in Tucson, Arizona. and Alhambra, CA. In 1999 Fr. Stephen was elected to serve as the Provincial of his Province. Four years later he was elected to serve on the General Council of the Order and took up residence in Rome. When his six year term in Rome ended he volunteered to work in the Uganda mission of his Province and was there for nearly two years before returning to the United States. He was Student Master for two years at the Province’s House of Studies in Mount Angel, Oregon. In 2014 he was again elected Provincial. Fr. Stephen has traveled extensively due to his responsibilities in the Order. His special interest is St. Teresa of Avila and St. John of the Cross.
